Historical Records
You can view the editing history of a footprint, switch to view any historical version, and select two history nodes for comparison.

- Footprint Editor Top Menu - File - Historical Records
After entering the historical records, the library becomes read-only.
Steps
View Historical Records
- In the Footprint Editor, click Historical Records to open the Historical Records tab on the right
- The list is grouped by time (Today, Yesterday, Last Week, etc.), with 20 records displayed per page. Click Expand More to load more records
- Click to select a history node, and double-click to open that historical version for viewing
- Click Restore to restore to the selected historical version
Under a project library, you can switch to view the historical records of other library documents in the same project. Under a team library, only the current document is displayed.
Historical Records Comparison
- Select and turn on the comparison switch
- Check two history nodes in the historical records list (after two are selected, the rest cannot be selected)
- Click the Comparison button to enter the comparison interface
- Object comparison and property comparison are switched by tab. Object comparison is the same as the PCB comparison function; property comparison matches by property name, and the difference types are Content Changed, Missing and Extra
- Close the document on either side, and the other side is displayed in full screen. You can select nodes again for comparison
